Steel rollers wear loud and rough over time. Nylon rollers with sealed bearings run quieter and smoother, and we'll help you decide which fits your door.
Whichever roller type fits your door and noise preference, we stock both.
We measure stem length before ordering, since a mismatch causes binding or excess play in the track.
A mix of old and new rollers wears unevenly, so we typically recommend a full set replacement.
A roller job isn't complete until we've confirmed the track itself is still in good shape.
Each service below is handled by a technician trained specifically for this kind of repair, not a generalist guessing at it.
A popular upgrade for anyone tired of the grinding noise from worn steel rollers.
For higher-cycle or heavier commercial-style doors, steel rollers offer the durability needed under frequent use.
Call +1-831-293-1591 →A full set swap is usually more cost-effective than replacing rollers one at a time as they fail.
A roller is only as stable as the bracket holding it, so we inspect both during every replacement.
If noise is the main complaint, this package addresses rollers, hinges, and lubrication together for the best result.
A quick description helps us prep the correct rollers before the visit.
Most roller replacement jobs don't need a parts run thanks to a stocked van.
Diagnosis covers the full roller system, not just the loudest roller.
New rollers installed, door tested through a full cycle, and backed by written warranty before we leave.
“Door used to sound like a freight train. Nylon rollers made an unbelievable difference in noise.”
“Recommended steel rollers since we use the garage multiple times a day. Holding up great so far.”
“Stem length matched perfectly, no binding at all like the last DIY attempt.”
Grinding or squealing noise, visible wear on the roller wheels, or a door that shudders during travel are the main signs.
We'll walk through the tradeoff based on your noise preference and how often the door cycles.
We'll point out which rollers are worn, but a matched full set gives the smoothest long-term result.
Rollers are the most common noise source, but we also check hinges and lubrication for the best overall result.
You'll get a straight price for the full set or partial replacement, whichever fits your situation.
Most roller jobs finish within an hour once the technician has assessed the door.
